Rick believes that anyone can trade profitably by using purely mechanical systems. He will describe the innermost details of developing a successful trading plan. You will learn the exact pitfalls which can hinder the success of a mechanical system. Rick will show you the steps required to develop a breakout system, a reversal system and a combination system which incorporates both breakouts and reversals.
He will provide you with complete trading rules for entries and exits for each system. You will learn to use the tools you need to develop a trading system and strategy best suited for your style of trading.
He will highlight the crucial statistics of trading results. These critical statistics enable you to identify profitable systems in both hypothetical and real-time trading. Parameter changes either make a system more aggressive with more frequent trades and higher total net profit or make a system more conservative, with fewer trades, fewer drawdowns and a higher percentage of winning trades.
Finally, Rick will discuss a new twist on diversification. Instead of trading several unrelated markets, he will show how to concentrate solely on one market and diversify by trading several unrelated systems. After receiving a B. Later, in the Major Market Index options pit, Rick was exposed to mechanical systems trading. He has traded his own account, using his own tools and mechanical systems, for fifteen years. To speed up his research and development effort, Rick became an accomplished programmer of trading systems.
Rick also researches and implements trading systems for The Branford Fund L. Initially Rick traded stocks, but soon switched to trading stock index options, then indices and futures. Among the notable, and widely traded systems Rick has created and programmed are R-Breaker and R-Levels, two totally objective systems for day trading index futures contracts.
